What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

We bought this car for the price and hopeful of the mpg. If we wouldn't have had to drive 6 hrs to pick it up it may not have seemed like such a bad idea. I guess we got what we paid for. The side of the car we couldn't see when bidding is messed and the windshield is cracked. The floor boards are rusted though and had to fix the brakes. The turn signals are messed up and we haven't gotten that fixed yet. We're probably going to fix a few things and resell it and look for another car.

I have had several of these and love them to death. They are fast little cars with ALOT of potential. There are tones of after market performance parts and these cars are 14 sec. in the 1/4 mile stock. Easy to fix and diagnose problems. ECU has a diagnostic feature thats awesome. Easy to work on and I personally like the way they look. I get alot of compliments on mine and I have the black leather and black paint with gold rims. Nice touch. The shifter sucks and needs to be constantly adjusted unless you know how to do it right. But even then they need adjustments. Tough engines too. I have had several as I said and have beat them down with blown turbos and heating problems and this last one burnt valves and blown rings and that sucker still ran. Engines are bullet proof in my opinion. The only thing you have to worry about is keeping the car running with the correct amount of fuel no matter what the performance upgrades are. NEVER RUN LEAN! Other then that fast little cars. Very heavy though at 3000 plus pounds they still get 35MPG and plus. Reliable in my opinion. Seats have never been a real comfort to me and I don't think they would be good for long distances. Give you a bad back cramp. The seats sit high too which throws things off a bit but you get used to it after awhile. GET the T-TOPS> A turbo z without T-TOPS is like tuna without the fish. Like peanut butter without the jelly. It's just not right. Brakes are good but could be upgraded to cross drilled and slotted rotors and organic pads. There really are a ton of performance parts and many clubs for these cars. These cars have a huge market for after market kits and stuff. So I would recommend buying them if you can even find them. When you do Keep em and never let them go.

1992 Dodge Daytona: Buying a Used Car

Cars can be tricky to buy on ebay and be sure you come to an agreement with the seller prior to bidding. the Dodge Daytona that was purchased on ebay needed 4 tires for inspection not 2. Needs two large holes repaired and the speedometer needed replaced. These items should be covered prior to bidding and sending in a deposit. The car is covered in rust and needs a lot of work. Not all purchases on Ebay are good deals. This was an awful deal. Honesty should be practiced by sellers. Be leary of Best Offers especially when they are accepted 30 seconds after the offer is made.
